heart painting, pheasant and toast!

hello fellow bloggers!
Woooo hooooo! it's Friday AND it's time for a paint party!! :-)

I love working with these small sizes.
This canvas is 6" x 6".

A little acrylic paint over the sketch...

a few chosen words...

and within the hour, a new little painting,
available in my ETSY shop soon.

Making this little painting this morning
got me off on the right foot.
:-)

Then i come to the kitchen,
and this is what i see outside my door...
a pheasant, strolling around in the back yard.

A common sight these days,
yet still such a treat.

He eventually made his way to the tree
to eat the seeds on the ground.

And after a good cup of coffee,
part of my morning breakfast.
Rye toast.

Isn't it pretty?

Have yourselves a wonderful Friday, Munchkins!

Check out some of the great posts here on Paint Party Friday.

Happy CED and PPF!

  11. This is lovely, beautiful words with it. Pheasants are definitely not a common sight over here. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen one. Happy PPF!

  12. I want to start the day with cool swirly toast and pheasants... not on the same plate obviously but you know what I mean... I started with a stale old end of the loaf and a kookaburra on the fence trying to dry off after torrential summer rains..but not the same as your awesome morning... xx
