Well, the season is upon us once again...
Here in eastern Canada,
it is snow...
snow...
snow...
and even fake snow! :)
I'm in a dry spell (creatively)
so kinda looking forward to down time
between Christmas and New Year.
Always a favorite time for me.
Feeling a little more disorganized this holiday season...
cards are on the stairs instead of hanging on the wall,
some gifts still unwrapped...
opted for the more simple decorations this year...
the ones with more meaning.
the ones that make me smile...
and after another storm,
it's clean up time on the back porch.
Welcome to winter in the Maritimes.
A mixture of snow, beauty, freezing temperatures
and people complaining about the weather. ;-)
With all the comings & goings of the holiday season,
i doubt that i'll have time to blog again before the new year,
so i want to wish you ALL
a wonderful, healthy, happy Christmas!
thanks for being here with me during the past year.
I hope we all get to share together again in the year ahead!
Here's to an incredible 2014!!
xox

Snow! I'm jealous. All we've got is some non-descript rain. It's hardly even deserving of the name rain ;)
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas. x
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Pauline. xo
ReplyDeleteLoved the photos! The snow looks so crisp, clean, and fresh. It makes me think of our winter in Wyoming.
I must apologise for my spasmodic visits to your blog over the past six months. Let's just say I'll be glad to see the back of 2013 and I surely hope 2014 will be a little kinder and easier for me.
All the best ~ xo
Wonderful melancholy post. Especially love your funky copper tree with it's random beads. Merry Christmas and blink and it will be spring again.
ReplyDeleteHi, Pauline, well, the year is about to close its door for the last time, right?
ReplyDeleteBut the good news is that a new year begins, and the interesting thing about this is that we can try again
I want to send you a big hug and best wishes from the depths of my heart!
(and a little sun from this summer that just started in the Southern Hemisphere)
Happy Holidays, Pauline! :)
Merry Merry Christmas!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your gorgeous, gorgeous snow. I'm very grateful over here on the green coast. I also only pulled out certain Christmas decorations this year. Every year it seems to be less and less but I'm not a girl for too much visual clutter and it all just has to be put away eventually (by me). Happy, happy new year Pauline! I've enjoyed another creatively and humorously abundant year with you and look forward to seeing your next great creations and musings (and that book!) in 2014 xoxo
