DAY 2 & DAY 3
Linking up with
29 faces in February!
No pressure to make it a work of art
when it's on a little index card (3" x 5")
I'm already amazed at how different they are.
Check this out...
Our neighbours' swing set, buried deep in the snow.
...and our road, not yet cleared after the storm.
And after all this snow (& more for tomorrow!)
this my friends, is how i feel right about now.
well, who needs a storm for wine ;-)
ReplyDeleteloved seeing your index card art, they are wonderful and wow, you did get snow!
Wonderful ink work. The snow looks like someone spilled plaster....a lot of plaster.
ReplyDeleteOMG that snow!!! I would send you the wine myself! hahahah
ReplyDeleteGood time to make faces then! :oD
Too much snow, way too much! Luckily we in Helsinki, Finland haven't had that much snow this winter, enough though.
ReplyDeleteI like that your faces are men, men are somehow so much more difficult to paint than women, I think.
So happy that you've joined the 29 faces! I'm really curious how your self portrait will evolve over the days :-) They're all very different. Can't believe those mountains of snow. Beautiful, yes, still I'm glad it's not as bad here ....
ReplyDeletelove your selfies so far. that's way too much snow!! stay warm :)
ReplyDeleteGreat work with lines, I like very much.
ReplyDeleteLove your faces and I'm a little jealous of your snow! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteVery fun faces on the index cards! Ugh for the snow, but hooray for the forecast!
ReplyDeleteI'll be right over! Sad thing is I'd be afraid of walking in that snow with a cane! Amazing sketches. That first one looks like someone I know! Good job...wow that snow is something else! Have a toast for me will ya!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
LOve the way the lines drawn to create the shadow around the eyes tell their own story on your Day 2 portrait.
ReplyDeleteTerrific work! enjoy your wine;)
ReplyDeleteNice faces! I particularly love the pen/ink one.
ReplyDeleteAll that snow makes me think of Wyoming!
Wine sounds good to me....please pour me a glass, or two, or three....oh heck, just give me the bottle!!! lol
Sorry I haven't been by in a while. Life has taken a few rough turns with my Dad now in Palliative Care. I haven't had much time to blog or visit friends' blogs. Hoping to work more time in for that because I sure miss it.
Have a wonderful weekend! xo
