it's all about summer, baby!

Hello everyone!

It's so good to be back from
more than a week away from blogging.

Both my brothers were here for a visit with their families
and we spent a few wonderful lazy, hazy, summer days.
The weather was beautiful
and it was so nice to see them all again.

The down time was great
and I always come out of vacation mode
feeling totally energized.

I also feel a deep sense of appreciation
and I am itching to pick up the paint brush again!
(hopefully later tonight)

i'll be posting some art soon, so hang tight, ok?

I also look forward to visiting some of your blogs as well...
I've missed you all.
:-)

Here's a little glimpse of our week,
thanks to photos taken by my older brother, Paul.

I am so grateful to be surrounded by such beauty...

A beautiful beach called l'ABOITEAU a few miles from home.

Who doesn't love a blue sky?

teeny tiny waves... :-)

Mr. Crab...

soft sand...

Another beach called PARLEE BEACH near my home...

Mr. Big Lobster, in Shediac, NB

a beautiful quiet evening at the PAYS DE LA SAGOUINE,
in Bouctouche, NB

did someone say water slides?

wave pool at Magic Mountain...
just waiting for the bell and the waves to begin!

jumping off the wharf...

aaaaaah.... what a fantastic way to cool off.

the one with his face in the water is my son,
obviously enjoying himself...
:-)
xoxo

  4. There she is! I was wondering what you were up to you yesterday ~ I wouldn't be blogging either if I lived somewhere that had those beaches AND sunshine! It's been raining here for about a hundred years although 'they' tell us it'll be sunny next week. So glad you've been having lovely family times. xx
